Maintenance Manager

Part owner in 2014, Paul has been the official owner and president of Prestige Stone since 2020. He has a passion for the stone veneer industry with his history in stone masonary. As Prestige continues to grow in quality, service area, and services offered – he is working to continue helping his employees be successful through a healthy work community. The interactions he has daily with his staff and customers are what he loves most about his position. As president and owner, he is actively involved in each department and still enjoys being able to offer hands-on help when he can within the Presige Stone production facility. He even works alongside the sales teams to visit distributors. His goal is for Prestige Stone to always excel in service and quality. That’s why he has worked to create a catalog of stone veneer that is colorful, clean, and affordable. When he’s not in the office or on the road, Paul is riding his motorcycle whenever he can and spending precious moments with his grandchildren.

As maintenance manager, Jacob makes sure the building and equipment is working well. For this large operation, that means maintaining forklifts, skid loaders, Cat wheel loaders, pulling and pouring lines, and cement mixers. He’s been at Prestige for over twelve years, working his way up from production to his current position. Even his name suggests he’s a jack-of-all-trades. As a child, he spent hours in a buggy repair shop with his father learning everything about mechanization. He likes his boss, plus the freedom of managing much of his own time. These days, his time gets filled by helping to coordinate the new addition and other property projects. He enjoys making things function smoothly behind the scenes. Outside of work, he spends time fishing on Portage Lakes.

Prestige’s Account Representative, Bryan Miller, hasn’t always been in that department. In 2012, he began in the manufacturing department, moved on to samples, and now works as one of the main account reps. His experience helps him answer any questions that customers or distributors have. He also provides information and customer service for end customers and masons. Bryan enjoys working with people and traveling for the job. He would recommend Prestige Stone because of its solid foundation of service. “We’re a well-rounded company,” he says to sum up the business. Bryan enjoys being creative. He loves art, cooking, and working. To date, his most significant project has been building out an Airbnb cabin.

Whether it’s taking care of payroll, handling orders and invoices from vendors, or running the social media page – Crystal just about does it all. As a member of Prestige Stone since 2020, she has become the “go-to person” and “delegator” in the office, which has given her a great opportunity to connect with her fellow employees and all of Prestige Stone’s customers. Though most of her communications are done via email, she’s quick to get ahold of and you can almost hear her kind tone in every word she writes. One of her favorite things is seeing how much customers have commended the company for their high-quality products and customer service. In her time out of work, Crystal loves riding her motorcycle with her husband and getting to be around her adorable grandchildren.

Brooklyn loves interacting with her co-workers and working with customers. Her outgoing personality and experience at banks makes her a good person to handle Accounts Payable. In this position, she pays bills and creates invoices. Her priority is to respond quickly to customers. She tries to stay ahead of her work and get answers for customers by asking the right people. Kindness and professionalism guide her interactions. For fun, Brooklyn spends time outside. She hunts deer and the occasional turkey. But she doesn’t just hunt locally! Every other year, she tracks and hunts elk out west.

Even though Jamie Lynch has been in the stone manufacturing field for twenty-one years, he’s not in a rut. He relishes keeping one step ahead of this ever-changing market. An employee of Prestige since 2014, he works as a sales manager, creating new accounts with dealers, maintaining customer relations, and leading the sales team. To Jamie, few things are as important as being available. Jamie and the rest of the team want their product to be easy to use, readily available, and reliable. Customers don’t have to go through multiple team members or automated calls to get the information and solutions they need. They prioritize being approachable. For 18 years, Jamie has coached athletic programs. Currently, he coaches youth and junior high wrestling and high school softball. He enjoys using the skills he gained in coaching in the workplace to build a team at Prestige Stone.

You can tell a lot about a company by their long-term employees. Nelson Miller has been here for almost 20 years and held nearly every position before he became Plant Manager. It’s hard to describe what he does. It sounds like a little bit of everything and a lot of making sure things run smoothly. He spends his days talking with employees, ensuring safety, and checking quality control. Although he doesn’t directly deal with customers, his troubleshooting and quality control ensure the customers get a good product on time. And he believes in their product. It’s high quality for the price range, and he’s got a whole lot of confidence in the product. He’s not sure he’d like managing at another place, but here, he says, “We have awesome guys to work with and that makes my job as manager easy.” He likes that his job puts him into contact with many people throughout the business. He also appreciates having time for hobbies. He spends his summers flying paramotors, and in the winter, he flies down mountains on snowboards

As shipping and production manager, Wayne creates the daily production schedule and figures out exactly what production will happen that day. He keeps his eye on the stock and orders. Much of his days are spent figuring out the final details of sales and customer service. He’s been with Prestige for a bit less than two decades, starting out on the floor and working in various different positions. He appreciates the responsiveness of his boss, changing when the markets and customers call for it. He likes meeting many different people, like the truck drivers who carry the product to distributors. Even though the orders are placed by email, Wayne still ends up talking to a lot of the distributors to make sure the details of the order are just right. He would recommend Prestige to anyone because of their emphasis on service and quality. He cites Paul’s experience as a mason, understanding the frustration that comes from a faulty product. Paul aggressively pursues customer satisfaction by dealing with problems and allowing inventory to accumulate. If you need stone, Wayne says, “You can order it today and have it tomorrow.” After work, Wayne goes from production and shipping to becoming a shepherd. He enjoys training border collies to herd sheep.

Nearly every customer interacts with Joey at some point. When customers place online orders, he reaches out to them, letting them know when their order will be ready and starting the process. He’s a details guy, keeping track of daily production numbers and inventory. Working his way up from normal production thirteen years ago, he’s the kind of person who understand shipping and production well. The things he loves best about his job are his coworkers, many of whom have been here as long as he has, showing good company culture. With customers, he’s learned to put their priorities first. Few people like to be put on hold, and he reaches out to customers in a timely fashion. He speaks from experience when he recommends Prestige Stone. They put out a lot of stone for a company of their size; they can match the capabilities of a larger company. But they also have what people like in smaller companies—the personal touch. With the owner and most employees working every day, their office provides continuity and service to their customers. When he’s not at work, Joey loves spending time with his two little girls and playing drums in a band.

Matt is the last person to see orders leave the warehouse. In charge of shipping and receiving, he loads and unloads trucks and packs the orders. Like so many other employees, he’s been at Prestige for a while, with thirteen years of experience at the company and ten at his current job. He appreciates Paul and the others he works with. He’s proud of the product and customer service that the team at Prestige work so hard to provide. And although he hasn’t been able to hunt as much as he used to, he’s still delighted to have a two‑year‑old son that takes up a lot of his time.
